Math Games for the Nintendo DSi Console

Nintendo DS supports several math games. The stereotype that videogames aren’t educational is changing. Nintendo DS has several math based games that are not only fun but can also help improve Your Child’s numeracy. Associate the fun your child has with his or her Nintendo DS with learning to improve her mathematical comprehension and skills.
1. Math Blaster in the Prime Adventure
- Defeat the rogue program Eemia who causes trouble throughout the universe and rescue Aimee in this colorful action-based game. There are 20 different adventure modes that can be set at three different difficulty levels. Your child can even challenge three of her friends to play against her in the Battle Mode. Math Blaster in the Prime Adventure won’t seem like an educational game to your child, but will improve his math skills.
2. Math Play
- Up to five players can join in with Math Play, the game that puts your math skills to the test. Children and adults can play this game by arranging colored number cards and creating equations. There are four game play modes that will challenge you and a difficulty level You Can raise as your skills improve.
3. Junior Brain Trainer 2
- Junior Brain Trainer 2 aims to Improve Your child’s English and math skills. It includes 11 mini games as well as games like Hang-man, Catch the Sheep and Sliding Tiles. There are 130 puzzles and activities whose difficulty mode can be set as progressive so the problems’ difficulty increases with time or in potluck mode. Your child will enjoy the challenge and can measure her progress with the quiz that’s included.
4. Personal Trainer: Math
- If you’ve recently struggled determining the correct change you should receive then it might be time to refresh your math. This DS game is designed for adults who want to sharpen up their math skills. It includes 40 different exercises which can be set at varying difficulty levels so you can work your way up. Addition, subtraction, division and multiplication are all covered in the innovative 100-cell block method which has to be completed and is timed.
